Vulkem 116 vs Vulkem 45 SSL: what Cranco carries

Cranco carries Vulkem 116. It does not carry Vulkem 45 SSL.

Both are Tremco polyurethanes and contractors ask for them in the same breath, so here is what Cranco can put in your hand today.

Which to take

Vulkem 116 is a one-part polyurethane rated to 25% movement under ASTM C920 Class 25. Tremco lists it for expansion joints, window and door perimeters, masonry and construction joints, on poured and precast concrete and masonry. It is exterior only and it is paintable.

Vulkem 45 SSL is not in Cranco's range, so this page does not put numbers against it. Ask the counter whether it can be ordered in, or bring the specification and the counter will tell you whether Vulkem 116 meets it.
