What is TremGlaze S500+ used for?

Window and door glazing, across a wide range of installations. Tremco's own case for it is adhesion, performance and cure stability on demanding window and door work.

How much movement does TremGlaze S500+ take?

Plus or minus 25% under the ASTM C719 Hockman cycle, and Tremco makes it a limitation as well as a rating: it cannot be used in areas where movement requirements exceed +25%. Where the joint works harder, TremGlaze S1400 takes ±40%.

How fast does TremGlaze S500+ skin?

Five to ten minutes, which is the shortest skin time of the Tremco silicones Cranco carries, and tack free in under 2 hours under ASTM C679. Tremco publishes no full-cure figure for it on the sheet Cranco holds.

Is TremGlaze S500+ EPA registered?

Tremco lists EPA registered among its features, alongside low toxicity and heavy metal free, and says the sealant protects polymer compositions. No other sealant Cranco carries states an EPA registration.

Where should you not use TremGlaze S500+?

Tremco keeps it off wet or contaminated surfaces, says the surfaces should be clean and dry before the sealant goes on, and rules out confined areas without adequate ventilation and joints moving past +25%.

What colours and sizes does TremGlaze S500+ come in?

The colours depend on the pack. The 300 mL cartridge comes in clear and white. The 17 litre pail and the 189 litre drum are clear only.
